Information you provide
When you apply, we collect your name, email address, phone number, city, state and ZIP code, preferred contact method, business type and company details (such as company name, EIN, MC and DOT numbers where provided), vehicle details (type, year, make, model, VIN, license plate and registration state), driving and owner-operator experience, how you heard about us, and any notes you add. When you use the contact form, we collect your name, email, optional phone number, topic and message.
Onboarding documents
If you continue to onboarding, you may upload documents such as a carrier agreement, W-9, driver's license, SSN card or EIN letter, voided check, motor vehicle record, vehicle registration, insurance certificate and vehicle photos. We record each document's review status and any reviewer comments.
SMS consent information
If you choose the optional SMS consent box on the application, we record your choice and the date and time you gave it. You can apply without giving SMS consent.
Technical information
Our hosting and sign-in systems may automatically record technical information such as IP address, browser type and sign-in times to keep accounts secure and the service working. We record basic page-visit and application events, without advertising trackers, to understand how the site is used.
How we use information
We use your information to review your application, verify your eligibility and documents, communicate with you about your application, onboarding and dispatch-related matters, and manage the working relationship if you are approved. We do not sell your personal information.
Who can access it
Your information is available to you through your portal and to authorized TRANZ AMERICA staff whose role requires it. Sensitive identity and banking documents are limited to staff responsible for onboarding and payments. We use hosting and storage providers to operate this website; we do not share your information with other third parties unless required by law.
Document storage and security
Uploaded documents are kept in private storage. Every file request is checked against your account or the staff member's role, and files are opened through short-lived secure links.
Retention
We keep application and compliance records for as long as needed to meet our legal, tax and operational obligations.
Your choices
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or withdraw SMS consent, by contacting us. Some records must be retained where the law requires it.
